Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Convenience Store Cashier to join our team at Dominion Station. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and sweeping floors
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and promote a positive store atmosphere
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
