Your contributions to the team:


• Conduct on-site evaluations of suppliers to assess performance with a focus on manufacturing elements
o Manufacturing process: Evaluation of production processes, throughput, bottlenecks, asset utilization, productivity, and compliance with regulatory standards
o Capacity: Assessment of overall plant capability to produce the required items within designated timelines
o Systems: Review of systems/processes utilized by suppliers to enhance efficiency – production scheduling, execution automation, deviation management, etc.
o Workforce: Evaluation of supplier personnel competency and skill sets

• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in suppliers' manufacturing processes to boost productivity and enhance supplier performance

• Assist the team in preparing supplier assessment reports/scorecards that outline risks, issues, and mitigation strategies from a manufacturing perspective

• Maintain a log of manufacturing-related supplier risks and agreed corrective/improvement actions

• Collaborate with relevant team members to monitor and resolve recurring supplier issues/risks

How to excel in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:


• You possess over 7 years of experience in Operational Excellence/Manufacturing Optimization across Industrial Manufacturing, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

• You are skilled in utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools for process enhancement – Root cause analysis, Value stream mapping, Kaizen, etc., with Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred

• You have knowledge of key systems/tools employed in a manufacturing environment – Finite Scheduling applications, MES, MRP, etc.

• You demonstrate excellent relationship management skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to connect capability assessment outcomes to business objectives

• You possess strong data analysis/synthesis and problem-solving skills to consolidate assessment observations, identify manufacturing risks, and outline improvement actions

• You have a strong technical aptitude, with proficiency in MS Office applications (including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word) and statistical analysis software

• This role may require up to 70% travel
