Bombardier's Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill stands as a premier establishment within an acclaimed network, representing the pinnacle of Bombardier's European operations. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is recognized as the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility is equipped to conduct a wide range of maintenance checks, modifications, and upgrades, all from this location.

Your Role and Responsibilities


• Oversee supplier capability evaluations, which include:
o Planning for assessments: Organize timelines, finalize logistics, initiate kickoff/data requests, manage team resources, and outline expectations.
o Conducting assessments: Lead the team in performing on-site evaluations.
o Compiling outcomes: Supervise the creation of assessment deliverables, prepare management reports, finalize scores, and communicate findings.

• Act as a supply chain expert during on-site evaluations to assess supplier performance with an emphasis on supply chain and planning.
o Demand planning: Evaluate the supplier's demand planning processes, including variables, forecasting, frequency, and communication.
o Sales & Operations planning: Review the governance process, planning horizon, stakeholders, budgeting, and tools used.
o Production & inventory planning: Assess production and inventory planning parameters, systems, inventory levels, and stakeholder coordination.
o Procurement planning: Evaluate P2P workflows, processes, and systems/tools utilized.
o Supplier management: Review systems/tools/processes for managing tier II/III suppliers.

• Analyze supplier performance concerning financial and human resources processes.

• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in supplier supply chain processes and governance to enhance planning and supplier performance.

• Maintain a log of supplier risks, agreed corrective actions, and track improvements resulting from assessments.

• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve recurring supplier issues and risks.

Qualifications for Success


• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations, particularly in S&OP or inventory planning within Industrial Manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a coaching role.

• Proficient in key systems/tools used in planning environments, such as Sales forecasting, ERP, and MRP.

• Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to align assessment outcomes with business objectives.

• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word).

• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
