About the Role

Bombardier is a leading manufacturer of aircraft, and we're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Performance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site assessments of suppliers to evaluate their manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, including Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to suppliers to help them achieve manufacturing excellence.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in operational excellence, manufacturing optimization, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis and value stream mapping.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and tools, including finite scheduling applications, MES, and MRP.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consolidate assessment observations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
