About the Role

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering excellent patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with our healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other caregivers, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being: Implement protocols to prevent accidents, ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
  • Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications, maintain accurate records, and manage supplies to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, using effective communication and interpersonal skills to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent, current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives, and current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Skills and Experience: Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, and experience working in a long-term care setting.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful attitude, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and care.
