Job Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop, and implement personalized care plans for residents.
- Administer medications and provide direct supervision to care staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, skin care, and exercise routines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant areas of long-term care and nursing to provide exceptional care.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge and background in Dementia care is a strong asset.
