Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Set-Up Injection Molding Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for installing and setting up injection molding equipment, developing and modifying robot programs, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Install and set up injection molding equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Robot Program Development: Develop and modify robot programs to handle parts efficiently and effectively, minimizing damage to equipment and parts.
  • Production Monitoring and Quality Control: Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency, work with quality inspectors to ensure part quality and performance, and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize injection molding processes to reduce defects, downtime, and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Operational Skills: Ability to operate a crane and drive a forklift truck
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of plastic injection molding and good mechanical aptitude
