Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Set-up Injection Molding Technician to join our team at Flex-N-Gate. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for installing and setting up injection molding equipment, developing and modifying robot programs, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and set up injection molding equipment, including moulds and moulding machines
  • Develop and modify robot programs to handle parts without causing damage to the equipment or parts
  • Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency, and work with quality inspectors to ensure part quality and performance
  • Provide ownership and analysis of injection molding process and equipment for the reduction of defects, overall process improvement, and reduction of downtime
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Ability to operate a crane and drive a forklift truck
  • Working knowledge of plastic injection moulding and good mechanical aptitude
