Position: Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Employment Type: Regular

Work Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and reconcile payroll for Canadian employees
  • Manage deductions and remittances in accordance with governmental regulations
  • Address payroll discrepancies and uphold compliance with internal policies
  • Generate payroll reports and support audit processes
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of employee information
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes affecting payroll practices
  • Undertake special projects as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Preferred PCP and/or CPM certification
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits management
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
  • Expertise in Ceridian payroll systems
  • Experience in benefits management is advantageous

Essential Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities
  • Capacity to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong time management skills
