Kids Help Phone is Canada's only free, 24/7 service providing professional counselling, information, referrals, and texting support for young individuals in both English and French. We deliver transformative support to youth millions of times each year.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Oversight

Assists in crafting and executing HR policies, procedures, and documentation related to the administration of the compensation program. Leads the job evaluation process, maintaining job descriptions and establishing classifications using the designated evaluation tool. Manages the annual salary review processes and provides insights on salary adjustments. Collects data from market surveys to analyze trends, prepares findings, and recommends actions based on the analysis. Applies knowledge of pay equity and participates in reviews to ensure equitable compensation across all employee groups.

Benefits and Pension Management

Oversees the administration of the employee benefits program. Collaborates with vendors to enhance benefit offerings and ensure cost efficiency. Communicates benefits information to employees and addresses inquiries. Manages monthly benefit invoices, contracts, and supports the annual renewal process with recommendations for enhancements and savings. Administers the pension program, including enrolment, leave management, remittance processing, and compliance with legislative requirements. Ensures alignment between collective agreements, reward structures, and benefit policies. Supports proactive management of disability, leaves of absence, and accommodations, working closely with HR partners to facilitate timely administration and return-to-work planning.

Data Analytics

Facilitates data-driven decision-making and oversees analytics related to employee experience, including risk assessment and metric development. Generates reports and creates dashboards to provide insights into workforce metrics and trends. Collaborates with leadership to align data analytics with overall business goals. Collects data and conducts cost analysis for employee negotiations and collective bargaining.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CEBS, CCP, CHRP, or CHRL are highly preferred. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on Total Rewards, including job evaluation and benefits administration. Expertise in compensation planning, market benchmarking, pay equity, and job classification evaluation. Proficiency in data analytics, including dashboard design and strong analytical skills. Attention to detail and advanced skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
