About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Royal Majesty Espresso Bar Bakery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop and bakery, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers, counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and address any issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Smart Serve certification.
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
Working Conditions
