Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Firehall Pizza Co. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and implement processes to maintain high standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that customer service standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 people, and provide guidance and support to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.

- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
