Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Madison Care Center. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Resident assessments and care planning
- Administration of medications, treatments, and wound care
- Proficient use of electronic documentation systems and MDS assessments
- Liaising with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Delegating tasks to unregulated care providers
- Charge Nurse responsibilities, including participation in care conferences and medication reviews
Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with the relevant nursing regulatory body
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Competent in electronic documentation and EMar
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Previous experience in Long Term Care, an asset
- Proof of vaccination
