- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including health care management, therapeutic interventions, and medication prescribing.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to identify and address health trends and patterns.
- Participate in policy-making activities that influence healthcare services and practices.
- Supervise and educate other healthcare professionals, including nurses and healthcare assistants.
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to critically assess and evaluate health research literature to determine best practices.
- Ability to implement and evaluate planned change, and to supervise others and evaluate the care they deliver.
