Nurse Practitioner

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Metro Vancouver. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
About the Role:- Diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated diseases, disorders, and conditions within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice.
- Conduct ongoing care, order appropriate screening diagnostic investigations, and interpret reports of investigations.
- Establish priorities for management of health, diseases, disorders, and conditions, and provide follow-up treatment.
- Communicate with patients and families about health findings, diagnoses, and priorities, outcomes, and prognoses.
- Collaborate and consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals as appropriate to assess and diagnose patient status.

Requirements:- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with patients and families about health findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ability to critically assess and evaluate health research literature to determine best practices.
- Ability to assess and recognize population health trends and plan and implement strategies for population-based prevention and health promotion.
