Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services in Coquitlam, BC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide education to clients and their families.
- Work closely with community partners to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience in acute or community health nursing, preferably in mental health and substance use.
- Strong knowledge of Indigenous cultural safety and anti-racism principles.

Hours of Work: 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00 (rotating on call)
