Nurse Practitioner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our interdisciplinary team in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic investigations.
- Provide first-line care in emergencies and monitor ongoing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and address population health trends and develop strategies for prevention and health promotion.
- Participate in peer review and self-review to evaluate the effectiveness of services and identify areas for improvement.
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and interdependently.
- Ability to critically assess and evaluate health research literature to inform practice.
