Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and health promotion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health needs, including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including health care management, therapeutic interventions, and medication prescribing.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to identify and address health trends and patterns.
  • Participate in policy-making activities that influence healthcare services and practices.
  • Supervise and educate other healthcare professionals, including nurses and healthcare assistants.
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Recent relevant clinical nursing experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to critically assess and evaluate health research literature to determine best practices.
  • Ability to implement and evaluate planned change, and to supervise others and evaluate the care they deliver.
