Position Overview

Join Side Asset Management Ltd as an IT Support Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our technological infrastructure.

  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a related field or equivalent experience
Work Environment

This position requires a willingness to relocate and involves working within the information technology sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to computer networks for users.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Assist users encountering technical difficulties with their computers.
  • Utilize user guides, technical manuals, and other documentation to research and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide guidance and training to users based on identified challenges.
  • Maintain a log of problems and solutions for the benefit of other technical support analysts.
  • Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users facing difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and necessary software.
  • Conduct backup and recovery operations for web servers.
  • Offer exceptional customer service.
  • Manage incidents effectively.
Supervision

This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

  • Possession of personal transportation is required.
