Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trucking Company Operations Manager to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and success.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate human, financial, and material resources to achieve operational objectives.
  • Departmental Management: Establish and manage major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning.
  • Leadership: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, and delegate representatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Must be willing to work at a physical location, with no option for remote work.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license required.
