Accounts Payable Director

Position Overview:
Our client, a dynamic investment firm, is experiencing remarkable expansion and is seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Director. This role is pivotal in managing the accounts payable function within a multi-entity and multi-currency environment. Initially, the position will require in-office presence three days a week.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President and will be encouraged to embrace greater responsibilities, foster innovation, and enhance their leadership skills. As a key member of the finance management team, the candidate will collaborate with peers, driving the company’s growth strategy through teamwork.
The Director will oversee a team of five professionals, providing daily training and mentorship. Responsibilities include ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounts payable department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all transactions.
- Implement process improvements and automation strategies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce manual workload.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting or Business is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in accounts payable, managing a team of at least five individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
