IT Support Specialist for Regional Operations

The IT Support Specialist for Regional Operations will independently manage multiple implementation projects for designated airport restaurant locations across North America. This role requires the ability to cultivate strong professional relationships with clients regarding IT topics and troubleshooting. The specialist will act as a liaison, guiding others in the setup, administration, maintenance, monitoring, and deployment of third-party applications within the network system. Proactively addressing and mitigating technology incidents is essential to enhance client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison, directing teams to support network system setup, administration, maintenance, monitoring, and deployment of third-party applications.
- Independently manage multiple implementation projects for assigned airport restaurant locations across North America.
- Provide support and training to end users on IT and technology systems.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist Project Managers with budget oversight, forecasting, implementation planning, training, and scheduling for project rollouts.
- Proactively address and mitigate technology incidents to enhance client satisfaction. This may include client training, basic troubleshooting, and vendor management tasks.
- Prepare project scope and business requirements. Utilize in-depth knowledge of products and features to support successful IT services, with the authority to recommend feature implementations as appropriate.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent).
- Three to five years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Proven understanding of basic IT network infrastructure policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of effective IT services.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and the ability to read construction blueprints for IT and POS equipment placement and requirements.
- Intermediate technical competence and experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working in a large-scale, enterprise-level digital and physical environment.
- Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship, with the ability to travel and work 75% of the time within Canada and the US.
- Must pass and maintain a criminal background check and meet airport security requirements as necessary.
