Forklift Mechanic Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at VP LIFT TRUCK SERVICES INC. as a key member of our maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate repair costs and provide accurate quotes to customers.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service on industrial trucks and forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment, providing expert recommendations for future maintenance and repairs.
- Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts, using advanced diagnostic and repair techniques.
- Test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and safety standards are met.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure equipment is operational.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment with a standard 35 to 40 hours per week schedule.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
