Our expertise spans aerospace engineering, where we design 15 distinct airtanker models and convert numerous aircraft into airtankers. Additionally, we excel in aviation maintenance, conducting repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on our fleet. We also provide airtankers, crews, and maintenance services on contract during fire seasons to government agencies across Canada, the US, Australia, and France. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a full-time permanent ERP Specialist. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is pivotal in managing the Aviation ERP system for Conair and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will collaborate on the strategic direction of enterprise systems, optimize processes, provide user training, oversee upgrades, and develop comprehensive reports.
Key Responsibilities:Process Management:
- Engage in a technical capacity concerning Conair's ERP system to facilitate activities in Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Repair & Overhaul, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Aircraft Conversions, Financial Accounting, Flight Operations & Safety, and integration with other business systems.
- Develop and document process models.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and propose actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Analyze data to pinpoint areas requiring corrective action across various domains.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Conversion.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives for electronic maintenance, ensuring compliance with TCAA & FAA regulations.
- Oversee the Aviation Maintenance & Engineering, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul, Supply Chain, and Finance ERP system (preferably with RAMCO experience).
- Troubleshoot technical challenges within the Aviation ERP system (preferably with RAMCO experience).
- Facilitate end-user training on the Aviation ERP system (preferably with RAMCO experience).
- Manage user permissions, assign applications, and create user accounts.
- Administer business systems for upgrades, patches, hot fixes, and user administration, collaborating closely with respective departments.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to communicate project status updates, with experience in iReports, SSRS, and PowerBI being essential.
- Design relational databases, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development using MS SQL Server 2019/22.
- Integrate various systems with Aviation ERP software (preferably with RAMCO experience).
- Formulate software application implementation plans and roadmaps for upgrades.
- Establish deployment processes for upgrades, testing, and oversee implementations.
- Monitor and report progress to management.
- Research, plan, evaluate, and coordinate new or modified business processing and software systems.
- Participate in strategic planning for the development of corporate business systems.
- Project Management certification is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Aviation Maintenance, Configuration Management, Technical Records, MRO, and M&E within fixed-wing AMO.
- Experience in Aviation Supply Chain Management, Electronic Flight Logs, Finance Accounting (AP & AR), and digital transformation in maintenance.
- Skills in MS SQL Server 2022/2019, database administration, performance optimization, and reporting services.
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes with Aviation ERP, process modeling, and report writing using iReport.
- Competence with BI tools for data warehousing and application/server maintenance.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related field, coupled with 10 years of experience in Aviation M&E/MRO ERP, inventory management, supply chain, and related systems.
- Leadership experience in coordinating between business/end users and technical teams.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and programming, with additional skills in SSRS report development and Power BI being advantageous.
