Our expertise spans aerospace engineering, with the creation of 15 distinct airtanker types and the conversion of numerous aircraft into airtankers. Additionally, we excel in aviation maintenance, conducting repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on our fleet. Our operations include providing airtankers, crews, and maintenance services on contract during fire seasons to government entities across Canada, the United States, Australia, and France. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a full-time permanent ERP Specialist to support Conair and its subsidiaries. This role will involve managing the Aviation ERP system, collaborating on strategic directions for enterprise systems, optimizing operational processes, providing user training, overseeing upgrades, and developing reports.
Key Responsibilities:Process Management:
- Perform a technical role related to Conair's ERP system to facilitate activities in Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Repair & Overhaul, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Aircraft Conversions, Financial Accounting, Flight Operations & Safety, and integration with other business systems.
- Develop and prepare process models and documentation.
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose recommendations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Analyze data to identify areas requiring corrective action across various functions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Conversion.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives for electronic maintenance, with knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the Aviation Maintenance & Engineering, MRO, Supply Chain & Finance ERP system (preferably with RAMCO experience).
- Troubleshoot technical issues within the Aviation ERP system.
- Facilitate end-user training on the Aviation ERP system.
- Administer user permissions and manage application assignments.
- Handle system upgrades, patches, hot fixes, and user administration, collaborating closely with relevant departments.
- Create dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide status updates, with experience in report development from various business systems.
- Design relational databases, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development using MS SQL Server.
- Integrate various systems with the Aviation ERP software.
- Develop implementation plans and roadmaps for software upgrades.
- Create deployment process plans for upgrades and oversee their execution.
- Monitor and report progress to management.
- Research, plan, evaluate, and coordinate modifications or upgrades of existing business processing and software systems.
- Participate in strategic planning for the development of corporate business systems.
- Project Management certification is a valuable asset.
- Proficiency in Aviation Maintenance, Configuration Management, Technical Records, MRO, and M&E within fixed-wing AMO.
- Experience in Aviation Supply Chain Management, Electronic Flight Logs, Finance Accounting (AP & AR), and digital transformation in maintenance.
- Skills in MS SQL Server, database administration, performance optimization, and reporting services.
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes with Aviation ERP, and report writing.
- Competence with BI tools for data warehousing and application/server maintenance.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, accompanied by 10 years of experience in Aviation M&E/MRO ERP, inventory management, supply chain, and related systems.
- Leadership experience in coordinating between business/end users and technical staff.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and programming, with additional skills in report development being advantageous.
