Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Aviation ERP Analyst. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is pivotal in supporting Conair and its subsidiaries by overseeing the Aviation ERP system. Responsibilities include collaborating on the strategic direction for enterprise systems, optimizing processes, delivering user training, managing upgrades, and generating reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Management:
- Serve in a technical capacity related to Conair's ERP system, facilitating activities in Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Repair & Overhaul, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Aircraft Conversions, Financial Accounting, Flight Operations & Safety, and integration with other business systems.
- Develop and document process models.
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose recommendations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Analyze data to identify areas requiring corrective action across various domains.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Conversion.
- Assist in digital transformation initiatives for electronic maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. - Application Management:
- Oversee the Aviation Maintenance & Engineering, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul, Supply Chain & Finance ERP system (preferably with RAMCO experience).
- Troubleshoot technical issues within the Aviation ERP system.
- Facilitate end-user training on the Aviation ERP system.
- Manage user permissions and application assignments.
- Administer upgrades, patches, and user administration while collaborating with respective departments.
- Create dashboards, reports, and metrics to communicate project status updates, with experience in report development using tools like iReports, SSRS, and PowerBI.
- Design relational databases, ensuring their stability and performance.
- Develop complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development using MS SQL Server. - Project Management:
- Formulate software application implementation plans and upgrade roadmaps.
- Develop deployment process plans for upgrades and oversee their execution.
- Monitor and report progress to management.
- Research and coordinate modifications or upgrades of existing business processing and software systems.
- Engage in strategic planning for corporate business system development.
- Project Management certification is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Aviation Maintenance, Configuration Management, Technical Records, MRO, and M&E within fixed-wing AMO.
- Experience in Aviation Supply Chain Management, Electronic Flight Logs, Financial Accounting (AP & AR), and digital transformation in maintenance.
- Skills in MS SQL Server, database administration, performance optimization, and reporting services.
- Adeptness in data modeling, ETL processes with Aviation ERP, process modeling, and report writing.
- Competence with BI tools for data warehousing and application/server maintenance.
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, complemented by 10 years of experience in Aviation M&E/MRO ERP, inventory management, supply chain, and related systems.
- Leadership experience in coordinating between business/end users and technical staff.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and programming, with additional skills in SSRS report development and Power BI being advantageous.
