Position Overview:

Conair Group Inc. is recognized as the leading privately held aerial firefighting organization globally, operating a specialized fleet of 70 aircraft dedicated to combating forest fires.

Our expertise lies in aerospace engineering, where we develop 15 distinct airtanker models and convert numerous aircraft into airtankers. Additionally, we excel in aviation maintenance, executing repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on our fleet.

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent ERP Systems Specialist. This role reports directly to the CFO and is crucial in managing the Aviation ERP system for Conair and its subsidiaries. The position involves collaborating on the strategic direction of enterprise systems, optimizing operational processes, providing user training, managing system upgrades, and generating reports.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical functions related to the Aviation ERP system to support various activities including Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Repair & Overhaul, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Aircraft Conversions, Financial Accounting, and Flight Operations & Safety.
  • Analyze data to identify areas requiring process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Conversion.
  • Facilitate digital transformation initiatives for electronic maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within the Aviation ERP system, preferably with RAMCO experience.
  • Provide end-user training on the Aviation ERP system.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and metrics to communicate project status updates.
  • Design and maintain relational databases to ensure stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers using MS SQL Server 2019/22.
  • Integrate various systems with the Aviation ERP software.

Project Management:
  • Develop implementation plans and roadmaps for software upgrades.
  • Create deployment process plans for upgrades and oversee their execution.
  • Research, plan, evaluate, and coordinate modifications or upgrades of existing business processing and software systems.
  • Participate in strategic planning for corporate business system development.
  • Project Management certification is a valuable asset.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Aviation Maintenance & Engineering/MRO ERP, inventory management, supply chain, and related systems.
  • Proven leadership experience in coordinating between business/end users and technical teams.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and programming, with additional skills in SSRS report development and Power BI being advantageous.
