Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time permanent Aviation ERP Systems Analyst. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the Aviation ERP system for Conair and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will collaborate on strategic initiatives for enterprise systems, enhance operational processes, deliver user training, manage system upgrades, and generate insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities:Process Management:
  1. Provide technical expertise related to the Aviation ERP system to support various operational areas including Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Repair & Overhaul, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Financial Accounting.
  2. Develop and document process models and related documentation.
  3. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and propose actionable recommendations.
  4. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  5. Analyze data to identify areas requiring corrective actions across different operational domains.
  6. Support budgeting and forecasting for Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Conversion initiatives.
  7. Contribute to digital transformation efforts for electronic maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Application Management:
  1. Oversee the Aviation Maintenance & Engineering, MRO, Supply Chain & Finance ERP system.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Aviation ERP system.
  3. Facilitate end-user training on the Aviation ERP system.
  4. Manage user permissions and oversee user administration tasks.
  5. Administer upgrades, patches, and hot fixes for business systems in collaboration with respective departments.
  6. Create dashboards and reports to provide status updates, utilizing experience in report development tools.
  7. Design and maintain relational databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  8. Develop complex functions, scripts, and stored procedures to support application development.
  9. Integrate various systems with the Aviation ERP software.
Project Management:
  1. Develop and implement software application upgrade roadmaps.
  2. Create deployment plans for system upgrades and oversee their execution.
  3. Monitor project progress and provide updates to management.
  4. Research and coordinate modifications or upgrades to existing business processing and software systems.
  5. Engage in strategic planning for the development of corporate business systems.
  6. Project Management certification is a valuable asset.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in Aviation Maintenance, Configuration Management, Technical Records, MRO, and M&E within fixed-wing operations.
  2. Knowledge of Aviation Supply Chain Management, Electronic Flight Logs, and Finance Accounting.
  3. Proficiency in MS SQL Server, database administration, and reporting services.
  4. Experience with data modeling and ETL processes in relation to Aviation ERP.
  5. Familiarity with BI tools for data warehousing and application/server maintenance.
Education:
  1. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Aviation M&E/MRO ERP systems.
  2. Demonstrated leadership in coordinating between business users and technical teams.
  3. Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration and programming, with additional skills in report development being advantageous.
