The Strategic Corporate Project Leader plays a pivotal role in guiding the future trajectory of our organization. As an integral member of the strategy team, this individual will focus on the company's growth initiatives and enhance our business operations. Collaboration with CXOs, Business Unit leaders, and their teams will be essential in facilitating and executing strategic initiatives and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a range of projects from inception to completion across product and engineering divisions, emphasizing milestones, deliverables, budgets, resources, and stakeholder relations.
  • Assume accountability for project outcomes and manage the entire project lifecycle.
  • Assist in the creation of business requirement documents for project initiation.
  • Prepare the statement of work document, work breakdown structure, and project plan.
  • Manage project scope and objectives using a blend of agility and change management practices.
  • Monitor and control project budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and apply industry-standard project management methodologies in software engineering projects.
  • Proactively recommend and implement solutions to address challenges.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with other functional teams and project managers.
  • Advocate for neutrality and transparency in project operations.
  • Provide comprehensive status reporting and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicate any deviations, impediments, escalations, risks, and concerns to the PMO, ensuring plans are in place to realign projects and manage re-baseline activities.
  • Actively participate in the PMO community.
  • Share insights, promote best practices, and mentor others on lessons learned.

Qualifications for Success:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management within an IT project environment
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • PMP certification, PMI ACP certification, CSM and/or CST, or equivalent
  • Strong grasp of technology trends, product development methodologies, and project lifecycles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make strategic decisions.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Significant experience with MS Project or similar planning tools
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is advantageous
