About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of restaurant staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance and increase sales.
    • Manage staff schedules, conduct performance reviews, and make recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a positive and memorable dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure that they are adequate and well-maintained.
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
