Scotiabank Wealth Management Private Banking Opportunity

Are you a sales and relationship-focused individual looking to build a career in credit-focused banking? Scotiabank's Wealth Management Private Banking team is seeking a Private Banking Associate to join our team.

About the Role

The Private Banking Associate role is a 5-month salaried program designed to develop sales and entrepreneurial-minded individuals who are looking for a career in credit-focused banking. The program focuses on building core credit underwriting and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net worth clients
  • Provide personalized and attentive service to clients
  • Help clients meet their financial goals through strategic borrowing solutions and customized personal banking support
Requirements
  • Completing a undergraduate or master's degree by June 2025, or relevant work experience in building client relationships and providing financial advice
  • Ability to register with the appropriate provincial securities commission to obtain a license to sell mutual funds
  • Sales and relationship-focused mindset
  • Ability to influence, persuade, and build consensus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
