Position Overview

The Contract Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing contractual agreements within the organization. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of procurement processes and contract negotiations.

Educational Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, or services.
  • Evaluate organizational needs to create detailed specifications for purchases.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Engage in consultations with vendors to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Analyze and review supplier quotations.
  • Establish and enforce contract terms and conditions.
  • Assign contracts to suitable vendors.
  • Set delivery timelines and monitor adherence to schedules.
  • Communicate with clients and suppliers to address and resolve issues.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the procurement process.
  • Manage the tendering process for contracts.
