At Florida Crystals / ASR Group, we are committed to developing the next generation of leaders in the chemical engineering field. Our Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a two-year structured learning and development program designed for select new graduates who join our ASR Group Engineering team.

Program Overview

The GDP provides a unique opportunity for entry-level engineers to gain hands-on experience and build a foundation for their career. Participants will have access to support and mentorship from company leaders, technical subject matter experts, and former GDP participants who will guide them as they start their career with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop multi-discipline proficiency in chemical, mechanical, controls, industrial, or electrical engineering
  • Review technical reports and perform basic lab tests with supervision
  • Produce SIPOC diagrams for departmental operations and key physical locations
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects
  • General electrical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
  • Perform operational and cost studies
  • Assume area supervisor responsibilities

Education Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college/university
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience (including internships and co-ops)
  • Validated leadership experience through extra-curricular activities, employment, and/or internship experiences
