At Florida Crystals / ASR Group, we are committed to developing the next generation of chemical engineers. Our Graduate Development Program is a two-year structured learning and development program designed for new graduates who are passionate about a career in chemical engineering.

Program Overview

The program is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and the opportunity to build a foundation for their career. Participants will work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop multi-discipline proficiency in chemical, mechanical, controls, industrial, and electrical engineering
  • Review technical reports and perform basic lab tests
  • Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement projects
  • Perform operational and cost studies
  • Develop SIPOC diagrams for departmental operations

Essential Capabilities

  • Time Management: Ability to manage and monitor multiple projects to completion
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving: Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Communication: Ability to effectively and clearly communicate information and ideas
  • Self-starter: Strong sense of urgency and deadline-oriented
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills

Education Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college/university
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience (including internships and co-ops)
