As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be tasked with achieving or surpassing established service expectations while advocating for products and fulfilling route management goals. Through exemplary execution, you will meet volume objectives, enhance market share, bolster brand equity, and expand brand distribution with the appropriate brands in the right accounts within your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee territory coverage to guarantee exceptional execution.
- Strategically plan on a daily, weekly, or monthly/quarterly basis, aligning with quota and distribution goals.
- Enhance and maintain existing volume and distribution by fostering credible and enduring relationships with ON and/or OFF Premise accounts.
- Administer the assigned budget as necessary.
- Conduct product tastings and educational sessions.
- Implement sales calls utilizing the company's Structured Call methodology.
- Monitor competitive activities within the territory and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify, assess, and qualify new accounts to evaluate potential alignment with the brand portfolio.
- Deliver product and brand marketing expertise through sales materials and staff training seminars.
- Collaborate with supplier representatives and management in the field to drive sales.
- Enhance the marketability of our products through effective shelf management, display positioning, concept selling, and price point management.
- Ensure the distribution of brands in key purchasing areas of accounts.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills: verbal, listening, and written.
- Exhibit sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sales and marketing of wine & spirits.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical competencies.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Liquor Board Regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as required.
