Parsons Corporation seeks a Contract Management Specialist to join our Commercial Team.

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, this role focuses on the intricate prime contract governing the project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contractual obligations and demonstrate expertise in providing guidance to team members throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly analyze and interpret the project's prime contract, ensuring comprehensive comprehension of its terms and conditions.
  • Provide expert contractual advice and support to internal teams, clarifying ambiguities and mitigating potential risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to draft clear and concise correspondence related to contractual matters.
  • Maintain meticulous digital records of all contract-related documents and generate comprehensive reports as required.
  • Actively participate in the resolution of contractual issues and disputes, employing a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Attend key meetings and diligently monitor contractual deadlines to ensure timely compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience administering prime contracts, particularly within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to travel to construction sites when necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Light Rail Transit projects is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Public-Private Partnership (P3) project structures.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard applications such as SharePoint and Aconex.
  • Understanding of project scheduling and delay analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project costs and commercial principles.
