Position Overview:

Powerhouse Retail Services is seeking a part-time Senior Visual Merchandiser and Trainer to enhance our operations. This role involves collaborating with a nationwide network of service providers to represent prestigious brands in various retail environments.

Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Executing merchandising initiatives, including the implementation of visual and written plan-o-grams, store reconfigurations, point-of-sale installations, stock replenishment, mannequin styling, and repositioning of floor displays.
  • Fostering strong relationships with store management and personnel.
  • Establishing themed displays within retail locations, collaborating with vendors and clients using various merchandising strategies.
  • Carrying out directives from Brand Account Managers and ensuring compliance with visual and brand standards.
  • Completing all assignments efficiently and punctually.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with the office and Brand Account Managers through various channels.
  • Handling administrative duties as necessary, including visit reporting, training organization, and follow-up communications.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior merchandising role within the fashion retail sector.
  • Strong skills in merchandising, including the ability to implement plan-o-grams and execute various merchandising tasks.
  • Proven problem-solving skills to navigate product and store layout challenges.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and effective time management abilities.
  • Experience working independently while adhering to quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • A diploma in Fashion Marketing or Merchandising is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a training or leadership capacity in retail is a plus.
  • Access to a mobile device with a reliable data plan is required.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Reliable transportation for travel throughout the region is essential.
  • A proactive and positive attitude is a must.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
