Position: Account Executive – Commercial Insurance

In the role of Account Executive at Western Coast Insurance Services, you will leverage your expertise in Commercial Insurance to oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive the necessary coverage tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist both new and existing clients by recommending suitable products and services.
  • Foster customer loyalty by establishing strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Utilize various insurance partner platforms to process client applications efficiently.
  • Generate quotes for new business through proactive outreach and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with Underwriters to ensure compliance with evolving insurance guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling while engaging with clients across all lines of business.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and external insurance partners to ensure equitable representation.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through industry involvement and relevant training.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Level 2 License is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both in-person and through digital channels.
  • Experience in managing a client portfolio or similar relevant experience.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to our systems and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and resilience in challenging situations.
  • A genuine passion for assisting clients, with a self-motivated and goal-oriented approach.

Employment Details

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Compensation: Commission on New Business and Renewals
