About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Patidar Foods. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Environment: 37.5 hours per week, in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
