  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Recruit and hire staff to join our kitchen team, ensuring we have the right people with the right skills to meet our business needs.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
