Senior Consultant

Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join their team as a key player in providing planning and technical analysis in support of ongoing migration and modernization of DNS services, custom applications, and data management infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy complex IT services with a strong focus on DNS and DHCP infrastructure.
  • Build custom DNS servers and services with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Design and implement custom DHCP servers and services with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Migrate in-house DNS implementations to third-party applications, preferably Infoblox.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of DNS and DHCP data structures.
  • Integrate Windows DNS with other DNS services.
  • Develop and deploy JavaScript applications with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Migrate Unix scripts in Solaris to Linux compatible scripts.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of network devices, components, and their inter-relationships to maintain data integrity for the entire network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in IT services, DNS, and DHCP infrastructure, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and deploying complex IT services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to Victoria required. The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package to the successful candidate.
