Your Opportunity at Arc'teryx: The Partnerships Coordinator is integral in enhancing our brand and community presence through impactful brand-driven initiatives across North America. This role involves facilitating the implementation of our brand-led sponsorships and partnerships at a grassroots level. The ideal candidate is passionate about the Coast Mountain culture and is dedicated to fostering partnerships and experiences that embody our love for climbing, snow sports, trails, and, most importantly, COMMUNITY.

Meet Your Future Team: The Community and Experiences Team spearheads strategies that empower our regions to forge lasting commitments to the community through local partners, ambassadors, athletes, and organizations associated with our retail locations. This team also focuses on key initiatives that drive brand loyalty, affinity, retail sales, traffic, and overall revenue.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Partnership and Sponsorship Specialist with daily operational needs for international brand community events and partnerships.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of project briefs for endemic events and North American partnerships.
  • Maintain relationships with premier North American event partners that align with our brand's purpose and strategy for snow, climbing, and trail activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on contracts, payments, and invoicing with vendors and suppliers.
  • Support event budgets and monthly reporting, ensuring compliance with Arc'teryx and Amer Sports documentation requirements.
  • Assist with venue selection, setup, teardown, and on-site event management.
  • Work alongside the Senior Manager, Brand Experiences to ensure events align with brand vision and strategy, while remaining on budget and schedule.
  • Coordinate event debrief sessions, gather feedback, and produce event recaps for internal sharing to continually enhance Arc'teryx event experiences.
  • Oversee additional event responsibilities, including travel coordination, customs arrangements, transportation logistics, and program support as needed.
  • Research and stay updated on trends in event planning and execution by attending relevant seminars and conferences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to leverage regional ambassadors and strategic partners in all business areas.
  • Submit product and seeding orders for event needs, ensuring alignment with overarching seeding strategies.
  • Support the management of Community Marketing Managers to ensure task completion as outlined in briefs for endemic and North American partnerships.
  • Engage with local community partners and ambassadors to promote a grassroots approach to endemic events.
  • Champion diversity, inclusivity, and equity efforts to enhance access to outdoor activities and foster relationships with local indigenous nations to integrate truth and reconciliation opportunities.

Future Opportunities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Brand Experiences, Community Program Managers, and Brand Managers to plan and execute annual national community initiatives, including climbing festivals and endemic partnerships.
  • Support national partnerships and ambassadors in delivering associated programs.
  • Contribute to a robust seeding strategy to enhance the partnerships pipeline.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, digital, or brand marketing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with various organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of budget management.
  • Highly organized with experience managing multiple time-sensitive projects.
  • Experience working cross-functionally.
  • Background in retail, preferably within the outdoor industry.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, committed, and goal-oriented.
  • Energetic and passionate about the brand.
  • Positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to living the brand values.

Compensation: The estimated salary range is $59,000 - $74,000 CAD, based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education. This range reflects base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits.
