About the Role

The First Nations Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Partnerships Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our regional engagement team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining partnerships with Vancouver Island First Nations, Island Health, and other health system partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and coordination to partnership work with Vancouver Island First Nations and other health system partners.
  • Support alignment of shared work and build relationships with other health system partners based on current community identified priorities and emerging needs.
  • Track and report on key activities and initiatives to ensure effective partnership management.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree in Health Sciences, Education, or Social Services, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in coordination support to First Nations communities, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder engagement, partnership development, provincial and federal health systems, and First Nations health system needs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the goals and perspectives of BC First Nations and knowledge of First Nations issues as they relate to regional partnerships.
