Operational Excellence Director

The RoleWe are looking for a Director of Operational Excellence to oversee the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage improvement projects across various business functions.
- Enhance Operational Excellence capabilities at Teva's facilities.
- Oversee initiatives aimed at improving Gross Margin across all sites.
- Collaborate with teams at all levels to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze site metrics to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
- Ensure the integration of fundamental OPEX principles such as 5S, Gemba, and standard work practices.
- Provide training on Operational Excellence methodologies to staff.
- Manage and develop direct and indirect reports as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with training requirements and operational standards.
- Ensure safe and efficient job performance in line with company policies and industry regulations.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing setting.
- At least 5 years of experience as a change leader in a lean manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and project management.
- Strong background in manufacturing, quality assurance, validation, and supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of cGMP and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry is preferred.
- Ability to travel between sites as needed.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to influence and lead teams effectively.
- Strong conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across various teams.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop team members.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and create relevant business metrics.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a comprehensive understanding of various factors affecting outcomes.
