We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead the opening of our new Village in Stouffville, Ontario.
About the Role
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Oversee the management of the Village, including financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including residents, families, and community partners.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional resident-centered care and services.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive culture change and promote a culture of excellence within the Village.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the Village remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a health or social services field.
- Three to five years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the long-term care or retirement living sector.
- Proven track record of success in leading teams, driving business growth, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate study in Retirement Home/Lon-Term Care Leadership.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and Collective Agreements.
- Experience in operational fiscal management.
- Previous experience opening or supporting the opening of a new long-term care home.
