The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Director of Operational Excellence to spearhead initiatives across multiple locations, including Teva Canada and various sites in North America.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and prioritize operational improvement projects across all business functions.
- Develop and enhance Operational Excellence capabilities within Teva Canada.
- Oversee Gross Margin Enhancement initiatives across various sites.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through cross-functional engagement.
- Monitor site performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
- Promote the adoption of core OPEX principles such as 5S, Gemba, and standard work.
- Provide training on Operational Excellence methodologies to personnel.
- Manage and mentor direct and indirect reports.
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and maintain high standards of operational safety.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing setting.
- At least 5 years of experience as a change leader in a lean environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and project management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, quality assurance, validation, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with cGMP and industry regulatory standards.
- Ability to travel between sites as necessary.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to influence and lead teams effectively.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze data and develop relevant business metrics.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in complex scenarios.
