We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Director to lead our efforts in driving process improvement and efficiency across our Teva Canada Sites and New Jersey, Cincinnati, and Florida locations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Improvement Projects: Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement projects across all functions of the business, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Build Operational Excellence Capabilities: Develop and implement Operational Excellence principles and practices across Teva Canada Sites, including 5S, Gemba, visual factory, standard work, and other relevant methodologies.
- Oversight of Gross Margin Enhancement: Own and execute Gross Margin Enhancement activities across Teva Canada Sites, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Site Metrics and Analysis: Analyze site metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for campus personnel on Operational Excellence principles and practices.
- Leadership and Management: Manage and develop direct reports and indirect reports, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and Batch Record instructions, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent education.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office products (365), excellent Excel skills, project management, and advanced presentation skills.
- Industry Experience: Experience in and working knowledge of a variety of functions such as manufacturing, quality, validation, and supply chain, as well as in-depth knowledge of cGMP and other applicable industry regulatory requirements.
- Travel: Ability to travel between Teva Canada sites located in different geographic locations within the province of Ontario, as well as to other Teva North American sites.
- Soft Skills: Ability to positively manage conflict, provide difficult feedback, and negotiate resolution, build and maintain collaborative relationships between teams, departments, and business units, and interact positively and collaborate with co-workers, management, and external partners.
