About the Opportunity

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly experienced Director, Operational Excellence to lead our Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement initiatives across our sites in Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Operational Excellence strategy to drive continuous improvement across all functions of the business.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement projects.
  • Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure and track progress towards Operational Excellence goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment and support for Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent education.
  • 10+ years of relevant progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience as a change agent/leader in a Lean environment, preferably in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or food processing.
  • Lean certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
