About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, OPEX to lead our Operational Excellence initiatives across Teva Canada Sites and New Jersey, Cincinnati, and Florida locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute improvement projects across all functions of the business, prioritizing initiatives that drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Build and maintain Operational Excellence capabilities across Teva Canada Sites, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Oversee Gross Margin Enhancement activities, identifying opportunities to drive improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally at all levels to drive process improvements, leveraging expertise and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain site metrics, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and driving business outcomes.
  • Ensure the adoption of fundamental OPEX principles, including 5S, Gemba, visual factory, standard work, and training campus personnel on Operational Excellence principles.
  • Lead and develop direct reports and indirect reports, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to support their growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, cGMPs, SOPs, and Batch Record instructions, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent education.
  • 10+ years of relevant progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years of experience as a change agent/leader in a lean environment.
  • Lean certification preferred, with experience in pharmaceutical production and knowledge of cGMP and other applicable industry regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent Excel skills, project management, and advanced presentation skills, with the ability to analyze information and create metrics relevant to business objectives.
  • Ability to travel between Teva Canada sites and other Teva North American sites, with a strong ability to motivate, influence, and lead others, and positively manage conflict and provide difficult feedback.
