Requisition ID: 242661

About Us:

At Wayfair, our internal technology teams are dedicated to architecting and implementing sophisticated, cross-functional solutions that enhance the experience of our employees. These teams oversee a wide array of functions, including onboarding, productivity tools, asset management, and in-office experiences. Our mission is to address the evolving technological needs of our workforce by delivering seamless support and innovative solutions.

We are in search of an experienced Product Manager to oversee a suite of technologies currently deployed, identify areas for improvement, and create a strategic roadmap aimed at enhancing productivity and user satisfaction metrics. This role will involve collaboration with diverse teams and leadership, including operations, engineering, and analytics, to define the capabilities necessary for streamlined operations while also enhancing customer and supplier interactions.

The ideal candidate will operate with significant autonomy and accountability, establishing a clear vision for the platform, fostering strong partnerships with senior stakeholders (both technical and non-technical), aligning on a unified vision for success, and delivering impactful results. This individual will translate business and user requirements into actionable strategies and roadmaps, providing detailed specifications and user stories for engineering teams, while making informed trade-offs between development time and complexity to create viable market solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee self-service tools and workflows, minimizing friction for employees, enhancing resolution quality, and maintaining efficiency metrics.
  • Manage cross-functional IT initiatives, collaborating with technology teams to bring solutions to fruition, including system migrations and operational management.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for your products, leveraging over 3 years of experience in employee productivity technologies.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, being their primary contact for product strategy and related initiatives.
  • Evaluate feature requests based on business value and impact, considering associated risks and development costs.
  • Stay informed on market trends regarding new products and design patterns, conducting build vs. buy analyses to determine optimal solutions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure comprehensive delivery of platform enhancements and ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders informed of key objectives and timelines.
  • Translate product strategies into actionable engineering tasks, empowering teams to execute your vision.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on progress and milestones to maintain transparency regarding product development.
  • Identify digital inefficiencies and design innovative solutions to enhance employee productivity and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management focused on operational or employee-centric technologies, with a proven track record of achieving measurable KPIs.
  • Expertise in crafting exceptional employee experiences that boost productivity while reducing operational costs, with a proactive approach to automation and machine learning solutions.
  • Strong ability to measure user engagement and adoption metrics, developing strategies to address gaps in user experience.
  • Proficient in SQL for data analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen, capable of contributing to high-level system architecture discussions.
  • Experience in managing multiple large-scale initiatives across various stakeholder groups.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on potential impact.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams, including managing sprints and backlogs.
  • Ability to establish a strong presence and lead product initiatives effectively.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and ITSM tools for service management.

Why Choose Wayfair:

  • Comprehensive Time Off: Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Sick Days.
  • Life Insurance and Disability Protection.
  • Global Wellbeing Programs: Discounts on Gym/Fitness memberships.
  • Support for Caregivers and Family: Parental Leave and Adoption Policies.
  • Professional Development Opportunities and Recognition Programs.
  • Commitment to Work/Life Balance in a supportive work environment.

We look forward to your application.
